After a morning of present opening, a huge breakfast of baked apples and biscuits, clean up and nap time, Ross' mom, sister, nephews and niece came over to share a Christmas feast and present exchange. We had a great time visiting together and the kids tore through their presents in record time this year.
Wyatt opened his gift from Santa, which was a 120-piece train set and was less than impressed at the big box but once cousin Olivia was sweet enough to set some of it up he was THRILLED and played with it for a hour straight (including the last 30 minutes by himself)!
The set includes a draw bridge, police station, fire station, airport, helipad and a bunch of vehicles that can cruise on the multi-level track. I have a feeling this is going to be a lifesaver toy this winter.
Wyatt also loved the bowling set he received from his cousins and liked the tonka trucks and fire station he received.
Grandma bought Sam the letters S-A-M-U-E-L to hang in his room (just like she did for Wyatt last year) and gave me a great nativity set.
We all had a great evening together and everyone went home stuffed and with at least 1 present that they loved.
