Crabgrass & Dishwasher Climbing

We had a gorgeous day today with the warmest temperatures of the year. Wyatt got to wear shorts for the first time today and tonight will be our first night without using the fireplace since the fall.

I took Wyatt outside this afternoon to soak in the rays and let him explore a bit. What I found out, however, is that he does NOT like the feel of grass on his legs and feet. Now I admit that we do have a lot of crabgrass but he was acting like I set him on a bed of nails or something. You should have seen him try to keep his legs off the ground while trying to balance on his behind. It was too funny.

Wyatt has been very curious about pretty much everything these days and is especially interested in household chores. He has even tried to get in on the action by unfolding the laundry, pulling the wet clothes out of the drier and today he even climbed into the dishwasher. I admire his enthusiasm to participate in the upkeep of the house and know he'll be mowing the lawn with Dad in no time.
