My parents hosted a mini early birthday party for Wyatt and invited Christi, Alex and Ross' grandparents over for some cake and ice cream. Dad ordered a special construction site themed cake, which was so cute and so boy! Wyatt wasn't real sure what to think about the cake at first but liked the feel of the icing between his fingers.
I actually got choked up when we sang "Happy Birthday" as I couldn't believe my little boy was turning 1. The emotions really surprised me as my mind hit fast forward thinking about a 5th birthday, 10th birthday, driving, college, AHHH!!! Don't grow up too fast darling! I opened Wyatt's gifts for him and he loved the spinning gear toy and singing cookie jar the best. I loved the new clothes- thanks Mom!
