Wyatt had his first official play date last Wednesday at Cody Nylund's house and the boys had a blast. Cody's dad had just installed a giant playground set in their backyard, complete with a slide, fort, rock climbing wall, swings and picnic table and the two boys spent a couple of hours on it climbing and jumping.
Equally as fun for them was collecting the pea gravel around the play set and shoveling it into dump trucks and then pouring it out.
The boys got along really well together and pretty much laughed the entire day. Cody's dad watched the older boys most of the day while Cody's mommy and I watched the little ones. Here is a picture of Sam smiling at baby Tyler (10 months old). Sam didn't seem to mind that Tyler was really crying at this moment... he thought he was cute and funny nonetheless.
The kids also spent a lot of time inside playing with toys and Wyatt was immediately drawn to the firefighter boots and helmet. (Cody's dad is also a firefighter who works with Ross).
It was so nice to get out of the house, especially since Ross was in the midst of a 3 day trip. We had such a great time that we plan on going back again next week.
