Water baby

Here is another classic example of Wyatt's climbing adventures. Today he was helping me put the groceries away. Later on, Ross caught him pulling himself up onto the top of the walker tray and standing. Wyatt looked at Ross and gave himself a rousing round of applause. Oh the pride...

It was a beautiful day today, in fact it feels like summer for the first time in a long time and the extended forecast calls for more of the same. We ventured out this evening to enjoy the mild dusk and the boys watered the plants. This is one of Wyatt's favorite things to do outside and I captured some video tonight of the joy he has for water. Ross is convinced Wyatt is going to be a third generation firefighter since he has an obvious love for water, hoses and especially nozzles. He carries it around like an older boy many covet a ray gun.

Operation Tough Love has been a big success so far, in fact I put Wyatt down last night at 8 pm and didn't go in his room (other than to cover him with a blanket) until 6 am. I walked in there expecting him to need another cover up and he was wide awake, just sitting there in his crib. I can only guess he was looking at the fish aquarium. On the other hand, nap times have been pretty much a failure with a lot more crying and just one short nap in three tries. Ross thinks he might get confused about nap time since it's still light out but we are going to stick with the plan. Wish us luck...
