My parents were in town for a whole week and we had every intention of using their help to landscape the front yard. Would you believe it rained EVERY day but one?!! We had rain, high winds, and even lost power one night. That night was probably my favorite of their visit, however, as we went into the next town over for dinner and then came home to play board games by candle light. Who needs the TV?The one day of sun we did have we made the most of. We weeded, cut down a tree, laid weed-blocking fabric, planted a flowering cherry tree, planted six shrubs and laid beauty bark. The cherry tree was an early Father's Day gift from my parents to Ross and it really makes the whole yard.
Wyatt was such a doll during the whole day and played with my dad and explored the corner of the yard in his walker. He even added some comic relief by pulling his arm out of his clothing to make a toga.
