Playdate Fun

We have been hosting a lot of playdate lately and the boys have made the cutest crafts. Here are some of my favorites:

This one is supposed to be a handprint tree with fall colored leaves (tissue paper) but Sam lost interest in his leaves quickly, or else he was showing what the trees look like after a big wind storm- sparse!

We had a ghost playdate and ate vanilla "ghost" pudding and made these ghosts out of the kids' foot prints.

We also made these adorable skelleton lanterns using McDonald milk bottles, electrical tape and battery operated tea lights. They turned out so cute!

As cute as all of those crafts turned out, my favorite craft this month was making The Very Hungry Caterpillar out of the boys' handprints. I painted the boys palms red and two fingers purple to make the heads. Then I painted their palms green and their fingers brown (just to the first knuckle) to make the body segments and legs. This was Wyatt's favorite book when he was little, which makes me love these even more. I'll be hanging onto these for a while.
