Cousin Noah was great with the boys and gave them each wheelbarrow rides.
Wyatt was drawn to every pumpkin that wasn't the color orange- first this tiny white pumpkin and them the medium sized green pumpkin we ended up bringing home.
Sam liked every pumpkin and tried to lift every one off of the ground. Unfortunately for the smaller pumpkins he would then try to "play catch" and would hurl the pumpkins through the air. This has been repeated a few times at home as well and thankfully he ended up with a super resilient pumpkin that hasn't cracked yet.
Here is the pumpkin Sam eventually choose as his very own.
Elijah was quite ambitious in his pumpkin selection and had to roll it to the wheelbarrow and then get help from his favorite auntie to lift it up and in. Piece of cake...
Sam really wanted to be in charge of pushing the wheelbarrow around the pumpkin patch to no avail. Give it a few more years Sammy...
And then there was cousin Olivia who put all of the boys to shame by picking out the biggest pumpkin. I'm pretty sure they weighed about the same.
Wyatt found this green pumpkin and had to have it. He carried it all the way to the wheelbarrow without asking for help. I guess he remembered that being the family rule last year.
After selecting pumpkins we headed over to explore the farm. Both boys took turns in the driver seat of an old tractor.
Next up was the petting farm where the boys got cozy with pigs, chickens and goats.
Sammy got a little too cozy with this goat and gave him a big kiss on the mouth. So cute but so gross...
We capped off the day with some fresh corn on the cob and carmel apples.
Wyatt thought this was great and we all had a fantastic time.
