Wyatt's Big Boy Bike

Wyatt has officially grown out of his tricycle, which we gave him just 11 months ago for his 2nd birthday, so we went to Toys R Us to buy him a big boy bicycle. Wyatt had never been to a toy store before and needless to say he loved it. I think we have to go back sometime and make a day of it when we have more time and play, play, play. Did you know they have an entire section just for trains?! OMG!

We did have time to scout out the bike section and pick up a 2-wheeler and CARS helmet and Ross put the bike together during Wyatt's nap. This evening we let Wyatt hit the streets on his new ride and he took to it right away. We started with laps in the cul-de-sac and once he mastered turning and stopping we headed out around neighborhood. He did take a tumble early on when the ground suddenly became uneven but he got right back on and kept going. He was a bit gun-shy after the fall and wanted us right by his side but all-in-all I think he did a great job on his new bike. Now the question is how in the world am I going to keep up with him and Sam on walks when Ross isn't around. Hmmm, maybe we didn't think this one through.
